Our method for made-to-measure. It starts from patterns we made ourselves for the Indian body, refined over three decades of fitting, and used nowhere else. We measure you, read your posture and the way you move, and engineer that into the pattern. A stylist works with you on cloth and style, so the garment fits you and suits you. Every correction is kept in your Fit Record.

They overlap in personalisation but differ in how the pattern is created, how the garment is produced and how it is fitted. Made to Measure starts from our own patterns, made for the Indian body, and adjusts them to you. True Bespoke drafts a new pattern from you.

Because fit does not stop at formalwear, and denim is the hardest cloth to fit. It shrinks after washing and it has no grade to hide a flaw, so it has to be engineered to the body. Derby has worked with denim for over three decades.
