Ricky Kapoor
Derby Tailor Studio is the brainchild of Ricky Kapoor, a young entrepreneur and NYU Film School alumnus, who conceived this idea during his university days in New York. Inspired by creativity, self-expression, and sustainability, Ricky envisioned a brand that merges design thinking with technology to create custom-fit, handcrafted fashion for every body type.
Master Muthukrishnan
An icon who has elevated Derby Tailor Studio’s prestige among its clients and got us to where we are, Master Muthukrishnan is a pillar of Derby Tailor Studio. With over 30 years of experience in custom Denim tailoring, he is well known for his precision, perfect fits and enthusiasm. His interaction with customers is always a wonderfully enthusiastic exchange.
Master Santhakumar
A veteran with over 40 years of experience in custom tailoring, he has had many satisfied customers over his storied life including men, women and children.
Baston Tony Miranda
An alumnus and guest lecturer of NIFT Chennai, Tony brings over 14 years of expertise in men’s fashion. A denim and sustainability specialist, he has collaborated with global brands like Marc O’Polo, Tom Tailor, Celio, Vero Moda, and Kings of Indigo. At Derby Tailor Studio, Tony leads with passion and purpose -crafting timeless, sustainable styles that celebrate individuality and fine craftsmanship.
